1. Honest is a album by Dave Stewart and the Spiritual Cowboys. It was Stewart's second and final album with the Pretenders' Martin Chambers after Annie Lennox left the Eurythmics to start a 4/5(1).

2. For the most part Dave and his Spiritual Cowboys created a solid track cd, which is no small accomplishment. I would be hard pressed to pick a song that wasn't very good on this cd, and, until 's "Slyfi", I would say that this was Dave Stewart's best solo cd. His singing is the only setback, but not that much of a setback/5(17).

5. Rather unexpectedly, in October of the Eurythmics reappeared after ten years of silence. By that time, Annie had done two solo albums, "Diva" () and "Medusa" (), and Dave had done at least four solo albums, "Dave Stewart And The Spiritual Cowboys" (), "Honest" (), "Greetings From The Gutter () and "Sly Fi" ()/5().

7. The truth was that "Honest" was never released in America. Thanks to Amazon for carrying imports. I just bought this cd and must say that it is good, but probably not as good as the previous, release, "Dave Stewart And The Spiritual Cowboys". "Honest" follows the same musical vein as the former release but to lesser effect.
